My mind, my thoughts, my words

Wild (Poem)

When shadows split the horizon apart
Tornados thunder to the ground to start
Destroying what took all to construct
Causing lives to ebb and to erupt

Left desolate, a desert in peace
The sun covered in dust as we cease
To exist without air when life has died
Fires burning leaving ashes behind

And when the wind washes over the sea
Cold waves flood mountains to let nature be
The spirit it was and always is
Wild at it’s core and mysterious
