My mind, my thoughts, my words

Gender works

I am all for equality. Men and women should be treated equally, paid equally, respected equally. But I don’t get how some feminists get all wound up about ”female/male roles”. Women and men are different, that’s a biological fact. Men, for the most part, have more muscles, and as far as I know, women are typically more sensitive. So why does the media paint it as ‘wrong’ if there are few women in more physically demanding jobs, and fewer men stay at home to ‘father’ their children? Aside from those who are forced into certain kinds of labour, most people have the freedom to choose their profession. People have different strenghts and different interests which may be influenced by their gender, but in the end, they do what they want because it suits them.
