Can you ever blame yourself? Nah, in the end, it all comes down to your parents, doesn’t it! I mean, they put you into this world, they brought you up, and don’t they say that all the shit that happens to you in your childhood majorly affects your adulthood!? I’m not gonna go into detail here, but I know what I’m talking about. My mum quite often blames herself for what’s happened (to me), I tell her it’s not her fault, it’s all that came together at that time, and I love her very much. Yet, deep inside of me, it hurts, and I know what she did got the ball rolling. So, just blame your parents for everything? Well, even if I might do that myself from time to time, that’s a very selfish and childish attitude. Nobody’s perfect, and parents can’t protect their kids from every harm, after all this is how we learn to protect ourselves, right!?
A little more sarcastic stance:
But they were fucked up in their turn
By fools in old-style hats and coats,
Who half the time were soppy-stern
And half at one another’s throats.
Man hands on misery to man.
It deepens like a coastal shelf.
Get out as early as you can,
And don’t have any kids yourself.
